Much more than a law firm
Founded by the professor and lawyer, Mr. Miquel Masot Miquel in 1965.
During his professional career, he participated in the Commission for the drafting of the preliminary draft of the Compilation of Balearic Civil Law of 1990, thus reflecting a commitment and a close link with our society. In addition, he was recognized for his numerous academic works, and for his merits he was appointed by the General Council of the Judiciary, from a shortlist drawn up by the Parliament of the Balearic Islands, to serve as a Judge of the High Court of Justice of the Balearic Islands; and he was president of the Royal Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation of the Balearic Islands for eight years.
Preserving history
Since his incorporation in 1992 and following his father’s legacy, Mr. Josep Masot Tejedor has continued this valuable tradition. Recognized for his experience and knowledge in Balearic Civil Law, especially in inheritance, Josep Masot Tejedor has been expanding his commitment to the Historical Heritage of the Balearic Islands. Currently, he is an active member of the Historical Heritage Commission and the ARCA association, dedicated to the defense of Balearic heritage. His love for the island has led the firm to become one of the best law firms specialized in administrative matters related to heritage, cataloging and claiming of public roads in the Balearic Islands.
